The hotel has nice a family setting with an outside swimming pool and hotel staff is nice.
Hotel towels are old, bathroom shower design is weird, breakfast service has very limit supply. Wifi is only available in bar area.

Leaving.
Pretty much everything. Small rooms , no storage / draw space. No shade around pool. "Free" sunbeds at private beach , complete lie , not free at all..

The hotel had a great location, just steps away from all the activity. It was easy to walk to the beach and explore the nearby ruins. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and offered recommendations for dining, bike rentals, and day trips. They made sure that all our needs were taken care of.- The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious and had a wide assortment of options to choose from.
Our stay at the hotel got off to a rocky start as our booked transfer did not show up at the airport. This caused some inconvenience and frustration.

Not suitable if you're allergic to cats as kittens were strolling around the pool area.

Lovely staff, friendly. Able to assist in booking car hire, tours etc.
It is not in the best location. It is best if you have a car. The other towns are nicer, busier and closer to other tourist locations.

Celebrating Easter in this hotel was awesome. the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the pool and nearby beach. the staff was helpful and friendly. We loved the traditional Greek Easter dinner they offered and the live music was just the perfect touch. the location was great, as we were able to walk to many restaurants and shops.
The room we stayed in was a bit small and could benefit from more storage space. the Wi-Fi signal was weak and unreliable in our room, so we had to go to the reception area to access it.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean, sheets changed daily (which is possibly a little unneccessary). Great pool area. Close to restaurants, market & beach at Perissa.

the Amelie hotel is exactly as shown in the photographs, really cute decor and very clean rooms/bathroom. the breakfast is served outside by the poolside each morning with stunning views of the mountains and surrounded by bouganvilea flowers. the pool is small but we had it to ourselves about 70% of the time , it was like being in your own private villa. the hotel is very quiet, there is not much nightlife around but it is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a clean, pretty hotel.

Mario the manager was great. He responded quickly to all the questions I had via email and very helpful for recommendations. Even though it was after check out, he let me use an available room to shower before my ferry to my next destination. The black beach, Perissa, is a short walk away and had different spots for families to beach volleyball for the younger crowd.
The hotel was far from some of the touristy areas, but this can be a good or bad depending on what you wanted to experience. Either way it's pretty easy to go to Fira, the very touristy area, via bus or ATV/scooter/car.
